Faithful followers and supporters of Ugandan Gold Coffee, we are happy to announce a change of style. Our board has recently hired on two private contractors, JP Popham and Lindy Bowser, and their ultimate goal is to find the best ways to reach you, our readers. As entrepreneurship majors at Grove City College, we hope they can use all their education to redesign our website and revamp our social media sites. So, what would you like to see?
As a nonprofit, finding new audiences can be pretty tricky. There is a fine line between selling too much and not selling enough. We want to emphasize the fact that we are different from most other coffee brands because our coffee provides clean water. How can we implement this mentality into all of our online platforms? What kind of blog posts do you want to see? Lindy will be writing posts which are focused on updates in Uganda and explain the true impact clean water has on a village. Her goal is to communicate in an understandable and memorable way, so that you will want to hit the share button.
JP is taking the bull by the horns with our website (keep your eyes peeled for a new design). What do you think makes an attractive website? He hopes to incorporate a clean design with beautiful photos to pull the reader in to browse the new blog and online e-commerce page. Both JP and Lindy are aiming to sell as much coffee as possible between now and Christmas because the sale of coffee enables us to fund more clean water projects. It is through the drilling of these wells that we save and change lives. What would motivate you to buy more coffee?
Our cause is a noble one and we hope to get the word out about what we are doing to thousands upon thousands of people – and we definitely need your help. What do you like to see when you browse Facebook? Please do not hold back, be honest with us. What do you dislike about our current social media plan? What bothers you about our website? Let us know below in the comments section or shoot us an email. We will greatly appreciate any feedback!
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
