Jill Whitecap, M.B.A
Jill has been Ugandan Gold Coffee’s United States Business Manager since 2006. Visiting Uganda on a mission that summer, she fell in love with the wonderful people and the beautiful country while being affected by the overwhelming poverty. She is passionate about making a difference in the everyday lives of Ugandan families through the sale of Ugandan Gold Coffee. Jill and her husband, Brian, have 6 children and live in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Herbert Asiimwe, C.P.A.
Herbert is one of Ugandan Gold Coffee’s farm managers as well as acting as the Business Coordinator in Uganda for all of our development projects. Herbert feels that one of the major obstacles to progress in his country is corruption and that CPAs can be instrumental in preventing it by strict adherence to financial accountability. He lives in the town of Hoima, Uganda with his wife, Justine, and their three sons.
Coffee Farm Supervisor
Jessica was the first person hired for the Wambabya coffee project, and works as our farm supervisor. In her spare time, she is the Community Nutrition volunteer; helping the villagers make healthy food choices, Jessica is also an instructor for the Functional Adult Literacy program, which works to further the education of the adults in the village of Wambabya. She and her husband, William, have three children and have been married for more than 25 years.
Judy is Ugandan Gold’s volunteer bookkeeper. With more than 20 years of experience, she is a valuable asset in our office. Judy and her husband, Glenn, have one grown daughter and 2 grandchildren. They live in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
